1. Purchased device on 4/30/2011 with UPS !-3 day shipping
2. Received device on 5/11/2011
3. Unboxed device on 5/11/2011 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
4. Plugged in device and began testing. I was able to do the following:
a. connect to wifi hotspot and surf the internet
b. play angry birds
c. take a picture
5. On 5/11/2011 at approximately 6:30 p.m. I left the device on the charger, went to a BBQ, came home and went to sleep.
6. Woke up on 5/12/2011 at 6:30 a.m. with the device next to my bed. The device was rebooting ?!?
7. The device booted properly
8. The screen is now unresponsive

Summary: The device worked like a champ for about an hour. Now it doesn't work at all.

Received this unit in a nice package and looked forward to performance to match. ePAD hangs 2 out of three boots. Battery dies after 15-20 minutes. Crashes periodically for no apparent reason. WiFi works off and on, quits and begins endless cycle of on-off, again for no apparent reason. Has the specs to be a great product, but the Q/A says it is just poorly made. I have spent well over six hours trying to make this work. I am an IT professional. My advice, spend another $150 and buy a used iPad. At least it will work properly.

just received my android 2.2 pc tablet and it works great. the video is clear,it boots up fast,the wifi wireless works without any problem. some of the apps don't work on google yet but i have no problem viewing videos on youtube or facebook. it does have a ton of apps that work in the android market including games. it excepts files from my flash drives of music and videos,mp3,flv,wmv,wma files. the battery works really well and lasts longer than my laptop battery. it took only about an hour to fully charge. the pages open and close easily. it is very touch sensitive. i was really amazed at all the features it has on it. i didn't think it would have that much to it but it does. read my review of this device and skip all the other reviews. people who say this item sucks do not know what they are talking about..Morons!! some of them say that the wireless doesn't work..well it does work properly because you have to set the right time on the clock for your region. I played with this tablet from 9am to just now at 12am. No it doesn't replace a laptop but it is sure worth the money and alot of fun and it is very easy to figure out. Good product!

I want to start off by saying that YES I did want to go the cheap route, I wanted a look a like Ipad that was going to be a subsitute for real thing. First mistake was ordering from China, they can ship it here in 3 days but to ship it back $140 UPS. That is almost the full price of the epad! First came out of the box it looks ok, lightweight body, turns on and works. I do notice that it has some delay when I press an app or turn the page. I immediatly noticed a black line running through the side of the screen. Any position I turned the pad the black line moved with it. Very distracting. I have a youtube video of the pad with the line. Please beware when buying something like this. I have wasted time and money on a product that doesn't hold up. I wish I hadn't bought the epad. I sent back using USPS and they sent the item to south america....I have been waiting a month for the item to overseas. I may nver see my money for this pad again. Please don't buy this product.

So, I saw a review posted by a proclaimed IT professional ranting on this device.

Let's put it this way, you have a window to make this device work, and if you waste it then the device will forever stay second rate.

The device has old school 800Mhz - 1Ghz Samsung SP processor.
512 MB of RAM. It handles Android with no problem.
A resistive touch screen, which is meant for fine tuned instruments (stylus/fingertip), works poorly with a finger.

Those are essentially the only limitations of the tablet so they are roughly the only important features.

To make this tablet work properly these are the steps:
1) Flash a CM7 (Cyanogen) Rom immediately
_________a) It is a Gingerbread Rom, so it runs 2.3.3 Android
_________b) Will speed up the tablet considerably.
2) Install Battery Calibration and JuiceDefender
_________a) Battery Calibration:
________________i) This improves battery life about 1.5x
________________ii) Continues to make sure the battery runs optimally
_________b) Juice Defender:
________________i) Android has an automatic sensory patch which makes it search for signal (1-4G)
________________ii) Since this is a China tablet, it doesn't have a reciever for this signal
________________iii) Juice Defender turns off this patch, improving battery life around 1.25x
3) Install a good version of Android Market
_________a) It will allow you to update these apps in the future making them more effective.


Is it a bit of work? Yes.
Will it make your tablet much better? Yes.
Will it save your touch screen? No, sorry guys.

This item was listed as brand new and I paid a premium price because I wanted a NEW tablet. When it arrived It still had the previous owners data on it and didnt work worth a darn. The touch screen (necessary for a tablet) jumped all over, the wirless didnt work, and the charger melted the first time I plugged it in. I was very upset about receiving this used piece of junk when I paid a new item price and it was listed as new. Scam.
It also took over a month to get my refund and communication with CAMSDIGITAL was next to non existent. Will not buy from again. I dont like being lied to.

I just received this item a couple days ago...much sooner than expected...GREAT!!!!! Anxiously opened the box..took it out...was ready to plug in the adapter to charge this little device...and the adapter was for european outlets. GRRRRRR....contacted the seller and was quickly informed that they did indeed send me the wrong adapter and would send the correct one asap..apologized sincerely and apology accepted. Now I am waiting for my adapter and HOPE that the problems I am reading about will not affect my device. I know that Amazon backs up their purchase items so hopefully if there is a problem it will be taken care of quickly so I can start (or continue) to use this... will report on this later.

heard mixed reviews from users complaining it was a worthless piece of junk, but those are the spoiled few that do not appreciate the splendor of Chinese creations. The tablets are very light weight, the battery works great and the fact that it's an unorthodox implementation is no consequence to the fact that it performs all the basic functions so well; I would recommend this for an extra web appliance; totally worth the price!
