This tablet is great for the price but I ran into a problem with online Android Market & the device not being compatible with some apps in this country (USA). I called Android Market & it turns out that it is a rooted device but the games & apps that we have on our android phones can be copied over on the sd cards & then installed through the APK installer. It does not happen with all apps. & to the person that had bubbly surface issue make sure you remove the plastic protection cover off of the screen. lol Also had to set language setting because it is mostly in Chinese.

Would've given 5 stars if product came with a stylus,carrying case/keyboard. A lot of apps are not available on market :( other than that.........pretty decent for the cost. Overall, I'm satisfied! Yes I'll recommend!

I disagree with the other two posters on review of this item. I have the 2.2 version of the Mid, this one is the 2.3 a bit better. My tablet is not slow and downloads apps just fine. The reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5, mine is not compatable with every app that I would use the tablet for like some of the television apps out there and the market for Android on it, isn't all that great. Maybe the 2.3 would be better for tv apps, I don't know. The good news is that you can download all the apps you want for free from Amazon, including Netflix, Kindle, free books, etc., which all downloaded fine. This tablet had no problem downloading all my books stored on the Amazon site. My tablet came pre-installed with Angry Birds. Keep in mind folks this isn't an IPad, Kindle Fire, etc., you get what you pay for which this poster is quite pleased with.

The android tablets I purchased for christmas has been the highlight of my kids holiday. Its easy to use and the market place is perfect for free games for them to download. Down side is that I recommend buying a sd memory card for more memory. The battery life isnt long but my kids keep it plugged in while playing games.
