I have naturally curly very coarse but very fine hair that is super thick. I have never been able to go out withough first putting a half a bottle of gel in my hair and then it still doesn't work if it is humid at all outside and I am in trouble if there is even mist to light rain/snow. My hair whether down to the middle of my back as it is now or short to my shoulders it becomes litterally puffy and frizzy. I am caucasian, but my hair does almost exactly what a person of African American ethnic hair does. I was fed up last winter and tried to relax my hair and it didn't work and so I tried it again with a different product the next week and then it still wasn't good so I tried it with a different product 2 weeks later and it worked but didn't last long and then after (yes my stupidity) doing that all in a months time I now have my hair falling out in large quantities and extremely damaged frizzy and unrulely. I tried this from Sally Beauty Supply at our mall and it worked really well for about a week (it's a weekly treatment). I put it in my hair and stuck a tin foil hat on and then covered it with a warm towel for about 4 hours and when I washed it out I couldn't believe I could actually run my fingers through my hair! It was wonderful. I bought more and will do this weekly now..
