Who would've thought that a shampoo made with placenta (?!!??!) would have been a good product. Well, my curiousity got the better of me and I HAD to try it.

I must say it has given my hair wonderful control and a lustrous sheen and I will continue to use this placenta product. I recommend placenta shampoo to all my pals.

I never dreamed I would give up on my current spleen shampoo, but I did.

I don't know the other person who made the health warning, but this IS true. Hair care products- especially thoses marketed to African Americans) that contain placenta (an xenoestrogen) have been found to cause breast cancer, uterine fibroids, etc. Ever wonder why so many African American women have these problems, compared to their European or Asian American peers? I'll be having my 2nd major surgery soon to get rid of more tumors. If only I knew that many cosmetics, hair care products, and even plastics were harmful to me!

This has got to be the BEST shampoo for adding body and volume to hair. It really makes hair feel thick and beautiful. This shampoo is even better than Pantene's Full and Thick, in my opinion. You won't be disappointed. I wish they would make the accompanying Placenta Conditioner for this product. The shampoo is silky smooth and slippery and glides right through hair and rinses very clean. The instructions say to use a small amount, because this shampoo is very, very concentrated, and a quarter-sized amount will be more than enough to get your head full of THICK lather. It smells good, too! I've used Queen Helene products since the 1970s, and I am very happy this particular shampoo is still in production and lasted the test of time! Buy it!

I do admit i was a little skeptical about this shampoo, but i saw the good reviews it had, so I ordered it, and got it in about a week.
This may sound fake and cheesy but i cant believe how much of a difference this shampoo has made in my hair. i have so much shine, my hair is healthier, and not to mention THICKER! i have tried many shampoos and serums to make hair shinier and thick but i haven't found the perfect one till now. i can tell the difference when i dry my hair and brush it, the brush comes out clean. my hair has this glow, and not to mention, my natural hair color, pops, it looks so much more appealing :D

my hair type is really thin and brittle, dry, from using to curling iron/ flat iron.

this shampoo had been a blessing to me, i cant believe that all this time i could have used this shampoo instead of wasting money on thickinging products, etc.
sure the thickness in my hair is not like the pantene girls in the commercial, but a thickness that i can feel in my hair, my own friends and mother have noticed the difference in my hair. i highly recommend this shampoo, it has worked for me, im done with my first bottle and im going to keep buying it too. i only wished that it had a conditioner with it but i just use whatever conditioner i happened to have in the shower.

i have also been taking a biotin supplement that helps grow hair and nails stronger and thicker, and has worked with in combination with the shampoo. i will continue buying this shampoo, because it gives me great results, along with my supplement :D

I am a believer in the "live and let live" philosophy, so I am only putting this out there FYI for anyone who may benefit.

More and more, the environmental estrogens (xenoestrogens) found everywhere around us are being linked to breast cancer, uterine cancer, early puberty, excess body fat, accelerated aging, early menopause, adrenal imbalance, endometriosis, poor thyroid function, low sex drive, cervical dysplasia, migraines, depression, fybromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, and many other problems.

Environmental estrogens are found in everything, from plastics and personal products to our food and water. Most people are estrogen-dominant and have no idea. On top of that, placenta products cause a huge surge of additional unnecessary estrogen in the body -- enough that that thay have been shown to send young girls into early puberty.

If you have any of the health problems listed above, be wary of the risks of such products, especially before using them on your children.
